Damon System

Achieving the best facial balance possible must be done in conjunction with conventional treatment goals. The Damon System offers a unique mechanical system of passive tubes that permits low forces to work in conjunction with the muscles of the face, tongue, bone and tissue. Low forces minimize discomfort and greatly increase the types of cases that can be treated to a symmetrical facial result without high-force expansion or extractions. Cosmetic Brackets - Ceramic

For our more cosmetically conscious patients CLARITY, IN-OVATION-C, or MYSTIQUE braces may be more appealing because they are clear brackets and are less noticeable than the traditional brackets. Since their inception in the 1970’s, many improvements have been made so that the brackets are stain resistant and strong enough to withstand most of the pressure of treatment.

Damon 3 Hybrid brackets, although only 50% clear, are cosmetic and produce less friction. These brackets are highly recommended if you want the best appearance with the fastest treatment.

Gold Braces

We can offer a system of Gold braces — that is brackets, wires and all appliances plated with 24kt gold. This arrangement is possible via a special friendship Dr. Connelly has with an orthodontist in Pennsylvania who will do the plating for our office alone. This is done especially for our patients with allergies to the typical nickel/chrome alloys used in orthodontics. There is a special fee for this opportunity.

Invisalign

The Invisalign System is a series of clear overlay templates-called aligners- that have been generated by computer simulation to gradually move the teeth. This system is available to older patients with certain orthodontic problems. Ask us if you are a candidate for the Invisalign system.
